In her meeting with Dr. Patricia Houston, Vice Dean Medical Education at Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, and Ms. Shannon Spencer, International Relationships Manager, PGME at Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Tahany Aleisa, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United States and Acting Cultural Attaché in Canada, discussed opportunities for collaboration in medical training for Saudi doctors at the faculty and affiliated hospitals. She also explored the possibility of increasing the number of doctors in various medical specialties, particularly those in high demand by healthcare institutions in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, the discussion included applied health Sciences programs and micro programs designed for professional development in different sectors and areas of training.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Aleisa expressed her gratitude to the university team for their ongoing collaboration and reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to strengthening the partnership in various fields that align with the objectives of the Ministry of Education and sponsoring agencies in Saudi Arabia.
