The Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau (SACB) administers several other scholarships for Saudi students in Canada in addition to The King Scholarship Program (KSP), and the Postgraduate Medical Program. These scholarships are provided by sponsors in Saudi Arabia that may include private sector employers, private and public universities, as well as research institutes, hospitals, and military organizations in Saudi Arabia.
The SACB encourages Canadian post-secondary institutions to accept 'Admissions Purposes Only' Financial Guarantee letters issued by Saudi universities or other Saudi governmental institutions as a confirmation that the applicant has been granted a scholarship by his/her employer or university. Once the student receives an offer of acceptance to an institution/program that is approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the SACB will issue a final Financial Guarantee/Sponsorship Authority Certification. This letter is confirmation that the SACB will be financially responsible for that student throughout the duration of his/her studies in Canada.
