The Department of Academic Relations and Authentications seeks to strengthen the connection and ties with universities, institutes and scientific centers in the host country and to familiarize its officials with the Saudi bureau, its activities, interests and functions through personal visits and participation in cultural and scientific events, as well as forming a link between Saudi universities and institutions of higher education and scientific research and their counterparts in the host country. The department also provides documentation services for academic certificates issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada for Saudi and non-Saudi citizens wishing to work or study in the Kingdom. As well as completing electronic authentication procedures (equivalence requests) for certificates issued from Canada and verifying the validity of their issuance and content.
